Contribution to the Fish habitat protection

Our lake has been classified SFI (Special Forestry Interest) by the Ministry of the Environment. With this new status, we can no longer have a stocking permit until further notice. So, if you agree, the donations received will be put into a Fish funds and used instead to subsidize one or more of the following initiatives:

• Have the walleye reproduction area checked and characterize
• Assess the status of the walleye population
• Assess the state of the lake trout population
• Finding Lake Trout Breeding Grounds
• Update oxygen and temperature profiles
• Make an inventory of the entire fish community in the lake
• Restore degraded banks
• Collect fishing statistics from your members

The committee will decide where and how the money will be spent. If you want to be reimbursed for your donation, please let us know at association@grandlacrond.ca

One donation equals $10.   To donate more you must increase the number of donations in your basket.  If  you wish to participate in the stocking process, please write or call us.
